- I've noticed a few university names in the E-mail addresses
- that appear here, so I'm guessing I'm not the only Educator/LW
- Animator. I'm chairing a session on the use of animation in
- education for the August meeting of the American Association of
- Physics Teachers. My talk will be on the future of animation in
- education (a la Light Wave), and will include examples of
- animations I have completed for various topics. Although the
- audience will consist of physics educators, there is no fundamental
- reason to restrict animations to relate only to physics
- applications. In fact, to suggest the diversity possible within
- the realm of animation, it would probably be a good idea to include
- animations from other disciplines.
- So, as you probably have guessed, if any of you have
- animations that you would like to have shown at this meeting, I
- would be quite pleased to consider them. I would naturally provide
- all session attendees with contact information for all animators
- represented in the talk. This is a strictly non-commercial
- presentation, but that does not preclude the mention of commercial
- applications for the sake of raising the awareness of educators.
- If any of you might be interested in contributing to this
- talk, please contact me at my personal E-mail address below.
